Pros: Comes with an excellent shadow detail and high performance on black levels, accurate primary colors in the THX mode, has great color saturation, with VieraCast that provides access on the Web as well as improved customization, also has an effective antireflective screen, 3D glasses are included and 3D picture quality is enhanced.
Cons: Comes with a high price, grayscale in THX mode disables adjustment, visible artifacts in 1080p/24 mode, the streaming services and apps are fewer compared to its competitors, consumers more power than newer plasmas and LCD TVs.

It comes with a 54 inch wide screen requiring the use of active-shutter 3D glasses for 3D content. However, one of these glasses is sold separately which additionally costs $150 each. The sync transmitter is integrated into the front panel of the TV. This allows the glass to sync with it. The drawback here is that it does not support 2D-3D conversion and this feature is available on other 3D ready models.
This model also includes THX certification, 600Hz Sub field Drive for an improved resolution on motion and is designed to reduce reflection and high performance on black levels. Add the TC-P54VT25 into your home network through the wired Ethernet or the WiFi transcriber and this will give you access to the Viera Cast Web platform. This does not support DLNA streaming from Networked server. This model has beauty on its own with glossy black frame and swiveling base that comes rounded.
There are included four HDMI inputs and two components through video inputs in the connection panel, one PC and one RF input that allows easy access on the internal ATSC and Clear-QAM tuners.
